The assumption is once you run a Facebook ad; it converts into a sale. That is not always the case. Facebook ads are more than just copy and creative.
- Facebook ads are not in alignment with your funnel.
I have a friend (when Facebook started running ads) who used a picture of a rubber duck. People would click on the ad but quickly realize the irrelevance of the duck to his product and funnel. This is the biggest mistake I see with Facebook ads when ads are not in alignment with funnels.
I’m sure his ad might have converted a few sales, but the ad made little sense for his product. - The copy on your funnel is ineffective.
And while Facebook ads engage a user, the funnel copy is just as important. I recommend combing through your funnel copy with a fine-tooth comb. - You aren’t making your product irresistible.
You are more concerned with the sale, then making it a sweet deal for your customer. Time to get creative and add bonus products or free shipping.
Facebook ads are an art and a science. Continue to iterate, test and optimize your ads. Remember, content is king!
