Before you go any further into the addicting vortex of TikTok, I need to give you a heads up.
Although this app is a whole lot of fun and overall, a safe and positive app environment. TikTok is a different platform altogether; its culture can be quite profane.
If you haven’t tried TikTok or haven’t heard of it, then you’re missing out on a lot of fun and the potential to earn from it too.
Since its launch in China in 2016 and globally in 2017. TikTok now has more than 500 million active users around the world. Even famous Youtubers and celebrities like Reese Witherspoon and Jimmy Fallon are getting in on the trend.
I’ve been talking about this fantastic app on stages and in my blogs. I also talk about how to monetize it in multiple ways.

So, what is TikTok?
TikTok is a video sharing platform; it’s one of the fastest-growing social media apps in the world. The app allows you to create videos of yourself for 15 seconds or less.
What videos do people create in TikTok?
Its users post fun videos of themselves doing some fun dance routines. Others share fun videos of them lip-syncing, and some re-enact vine videos and famous lines from movies and tv shows.
Is TikTok only for teens?
Absolutely not! I for one have been enjoying TikTok ever since I tried it and found multiple ways to monetize it. If you have used other forms of social media, then using TikTok will be easy peasy and fun for you too. And who says there’s an age limit in enjoying fun?
Is TikTok suitable for children?
Parent Alert!
Well, TikTok is quite different from other platforms because it has a lot more language. There are quite inappropriate words in songs and a whole lot of naughty jokes. Some of the languages used in these videos might catch you by surprise. There are a lot of videos in it that’s naughty or even downright grotesque.
So, if you are a parent or have kids with you while watching this course, you might want to turn your volume down. Don’t jump in on to this course with them listening to this, and the same thing is true with TikTok.
But don’t worry; most of the content I put up on all my social media is pretty clean. I don’t use swear words; there’s not a ton of profanity nor crazy inappropriate humor.
I want to put this out there to make sure, in case you have little ears that are really impressionable. Or, if you are a parent, like me. I don’t want my kids to hear those kinds of things nor for them to see some inappropriate content.
