Let’s Go Back to the Basics.

By Rachel Pedersen

Social media is like the Wild West; it’s lawlessness! Only, instead of cowboys and cactuses, it’s full of advertisements, naïve judgments about presidential candidates and awkward family photos. In this cyberspace free-for-all, how does anyone reach his or her customers with the information that truly matters? Through conversations with my clients, I have realized that…

Helping freelancers & business owners to grow their business with social media
8figures in 8 years | Hay House Author

My dear clients, students, and friends. They say My dear clients, students, and friends.

They say the average person knows 300 people by name.

I swear I might know 13,000 of you by name, story, and personal relationship.

We’ve all grown together from across the globe amidst wars and worldwide strife as a community obsessed with learning how to bring GOOD through marketing.

We’ve learned…
grieved…
thrived...
cried...
laughed...
pulled all nighters of strategy and stories…

And so much more ❤️

It has been a wild, beautiful, and brilliant past 12 years serving you with marketing value and teachings, helping you achieve your goals, and hopefully inspiring you to pursue happiness and fulfillment.

In the pursuit of happiness and fulfillment (amongst other reasons), I am closing down my businesses and retiring from being “Rachel Pedersen”.

My heart has been craving time, space, and privacy… Long-term. Especially as I don’t know how my personal life will play out.

So much of me has been healing THROUGH this - and I have perfect clarity on what I want.

I’m ready to live a life NOT being a public figure on social media.

I’m ready to be a #2 marketing lead in someone else’s vision and company.

I’m ready for simple and happy for me and the kids… Focusing more on their time in the spotlight as they become incredible humans.

And today is the day 🫶

I will still write books (and share them) and occasionally pop in to share a new insight or value (plus we’ll do one final retirement sale - none of these programs will be sold again).

I am better because of the beauty from each of you. I am better because I have known you.

You have truly all made EVERY day an adventure. I am so grateful for each one of you.

Thank you for being you - please only change for the better of your lives and development ❤️‍🩹

Love you. Signing off, officially ✌️

Dolly Parton once said in an interview that she wr Dolly Parton once said in an interview that she wrote Jolene and I Will Always Love You on the same day. ✨

I have thought about that contrast more than I care to admit. It says a lot about who she was and how she lived.

Because those two songs are opposites… and they both are her reclaiming her beautiful power (in different ways).

She wrote one of them from the top.

Leaving Porter Wagoner’s show. Walking away from the man who put her on television. Choosing to say goodbye kindly when she did not have to be kind about it at all.

She wrote the other one from the floor. No power. No plan. A woman asking another woman for mercy about her own husband.

Same day. All the power in one hand and none of it in the other.

But my favorite thing is that she didn’t just write them…

She released both. 🎀

She could have kept the vulnerable, scary one in a drawer. Nobody would have known.

She put it out anyway, and it became one of the most covered songs anybody has ever written.

That is how she lived the whole sixty years.

Heart on her sleeve. Song on her lips.

Never a version of herself she was too proud to let us see.

My people hide the ugly parts and messy bits away.

She didn’t. 🤍

So much love,
Rachel

She meant so much to so many of us. And man, she practiced what she preached ❤️🫶

I don’t have words to express how impactful her words, songs, and outlook on life have been for me over my life.

So I’ll allow your own words to reflect back to us the impact of your life.

My dream was to become RICH.

I wanted a better quality of life SO BADLY.

Becoming rich felt like the only way to make it happen.

Now I’m a single mom of 3... 💔

And my new dream is to build wealth (while empowering others to do the same).

I want true freedom to CHOOSE...
Generational wealth... .
Ownership...

And a safety net a mile wide 🙌

If that appeals to you, you’re going to love the ‘next-level’ transparency I am about to share over the coming months.
This breaks mine and Poul H. Pedersen’s hearts to This breaks mine and Poul H. Pedersen’s hearts to share.

After nearly 13 years of marriage, we are getting a divorce 💔

We made this decision together - it is not repairable.

A few of you knew something was happening. Thank you for respecting our privacy through these painful matters. I’m sharing this because we shared our relationship with you. I don’t want to lie or pretend like nothing is happening.

Poul is an amazing dad. We are raising the children together as partners 🙏

This is uncontested and amicable. We are not fighting.

He’s also my best friend. Please please please do not attack him or assume about him through this. He’s the father of my children, so hurting him hurts me.

We will only be sharing the full story as needed to navigate our next steps.

Please pray for Poul and the children. Pray for our families. Please pray for me for wisdom to know what to do next.

My heart is beyond broken. His is as well.

But my feet are underneath me, and I have a clear vision of the path I need to take for our children ❤️ their lives and futures above all now.

Edited to add… sorry about my ManyChat responder. I don’t want to look at a computer to turn it off while I’m crying.
