It’s the most wonderful time of the year! The holidays are coming, and the pressure to have cute or clever designs for your business’s social media and online marketing is growing.
Amidst sentimental campaigns like M&M’s, Coca-Cola, Budweiser, and other companies with millions to spend, many business owners become too intimidated to create their own designs.
Here are some of the programs or options I would love to share that have helped me to grow in my design skills.
- Piktograph – This website aids in creating excellent infographics, flyers, and posters. Spend a little bit of time on the website to get a feel for how it works. The only con: a limited ability to openly create new looks. (www.piktograph.com)
- Photoshop CC – Photoshop’s price has dropped significantly since I started using it, and there is now a low-cost option to pay monthly! This does require some knowledge of graphic design, but there are no limits to what it can produce.
- Expert – Bringing in a social media expert whose monthly contract includes custom graphic design relieves the entire headache for business owners. Plus toe to toe it will cost less than hiring a full time marketing individual to run your social media!
