How Does The Tiktok Creator Fund Work

By Rachel Pedersen

Admit it, you’re not sure how the TikTok creator fund works. Well don’t worry! We’ve got your back and have all the info you need right here.

In order to keep up with demand for content creators (aka “TikTokers”), TikTok is offering to pay for views to creators in the TikTok Creator fund. This money can be used to hire talent, purchase equipment and software or anything else necessary to make high quality videos on TikTok!

Here’s how The TikTok Creator Fund works!

What is The TikTok Creator Fund?

The Creator Fund is not a grant or a way to share ad revenue with creators. Creators receive funds from their videos based on several different things (TikTok does not share specifically what these factors are). You will see that your performance changes from time to time because of the fluctuations of these factors.

How many creators can be in the TikTok Creator Fund?

If you are eligible to make money in the TikTok Creator Fund, this doesn’t take away from someone else’s ability to join! There is no limit on the number of people who can join. TikTok wants as many people eligible for making money on TikTok to do it.

How are the funds from the TikTok Creator Fund calculated?

Each creator’s amount of money is determined by a lot of things. The more people watch a video and the more people comment on it helps the creator earn more money. If they make sure to post videos that are appropriate for this website, then they can earn even more. The Creator Fund total changes every day and is dependent on how many people publish videos.

There are many different creators and videos online. No two people or videos are the same. The Creator Fund fund will support content from creators when they publish their videos. It is hard to know how much money there is in the fund each day because it changes daily depending on how many people publish their video that day.

Is there a cap or limit to earnings for each creator per day?

TikTok will give creators money. They won’t tell us how much. But they promise to give £231 million over the next 3 years to the Creator Fund.

The Creator Fund is a way for TikTok to reward its creators. It’s not a grant or a way to share ad revenue with content creators, so don’t be fooled by the name! Creators receive funds from their videos based on several different factors that are unknown and have been changing over time since it was introduced in 2018. You will see your performance change from time-to-time because of fluctuations in these factors.
