The Step-by-Step System I Use to Launch Passive Offers in One Sitting

By Rachel Pedersen

A few years ago, I realized something that changed everything:

I was overbuilding and overplanning my offers.

Too many lessons. Too many slides. Too many layers.

And not enough action.

One day, while stuck at the airport during a multi-hour flight delay, I launched a passive income offer using my simplified system-and that decision generated over $25,000.

This is that system.

If you want to launch a passive offer in a single sitting-and avoid bloated to-do lists, complicated funnels, and 17-module course syndrome-this guide is for you.

Step 1: Identify the Immediate Win

Here’s the mistake most people make: they try to create an offer that teaches everything.

But most people aren’t looking for “everything.” They want a shortcut. A decision. A DONE-FOR-THEM answer.

That’s why my passive income system always starts with one simple question:

What specific result can I help someone achieve in 24 hours or less?

Some examples:

  • The Freelancer Pricing Calculator (helps you price your services based on your goals)
  • The Objection Handling Cheat Sheet (gives copy/paste scripts for sales calls and DMs)
  • The Content Blocks Template (teaches how I batch 90 days of content in a day)

Each one is simple. Specific. Useful within minutes.

And that’s exactly why they sell.

Step 2: Build With What You Already Have

If you’ve ever thought, “I need to create a whole new product from scratch…”

Please don’t.

90% of my best-performing offers came from something I already made (here are ideas):

  • A workshop I taught live and repurposed into a workbook
  • A Notion template I used with clients and turned into a $9 offer
  • A list of discovery call questions I’d been reusing for years

You probably have assets sitting on your computer right now that could be turned into passive income.

Check:

  • Your past client templates
  • Your email sequences
  • That Google Doc with 27 tips you made for a webinar…

Don’t reinvent. Repackage.

Step 3: Use My “One-Sitting Offer” Framework

Here’s the actual workflow I’ve used dozens of times to launch a digital product in one sitting (without needing to use a team, designer, or complicated funnel):

1. Offer Brainstorm (15–30 mins)

  • Choose your quick win.
  • Decide: is this a template, a checklist, a swipe file, a guide?
  • Write out the promise and transformation in one sentence.

2. Outline (30 mins)

  • Intro: who it’s for, what it helps with
  • Step-by-step how-to (no fluff)
  • Optional: bonus tips, examples, resource list

3. Build (60–90 mins)

  • Drop everything into a clean doc or Canva template
  • Use bold headers, checklists, and bullet points
  • Include “action” sections or “apply this now” moments

4. Set Up the Sales Page (30 mins)

  • Use Gumroad, Stan Store, or ThriveCart (no tech headaches)
  • Title. 1–2 benefits. A mockup if you want to get fancy.

5. Create a Launch Caption or Reel (15 mins)

  • Tell a quick story. Drop the link. Invite them in.

Done.

You don’t need 14 days. You need 3 hours and a system.

Want my swipe files, Canva templates, and real examples from my best-selling offers? That’s exactly what we dive into inside The Social Clique – my mentorship for turning your content into clients and offers. www.cliqueforlife.com

Step 4: Price It the Smart Way

This is the part that stops most creators. “But how do I know what to charge?”

Here’s my fast framework:

  • $9–$19 if it solves one small, specific problem
  • $27–$47 if it solves a specific problem and includes a framework, template, or system
  • $67–$97 if it combines training + tools or unlocks revenue for them

Remember: clarity > volume.

I’ve had clients get more conversions at $17 than $7 because it felt more valuable and wasn’t treated like a throwaway.

And one of the biggest myths?

That you have to “start small.”

You don’t.

You just need to start smart.

Step 5: Launch Loud (and Reuse What Works)

Let me be honest-my first $25K from that offer? It didn’t come from a complicated funnel.

It came from repurposing the SAME content across like this:

  • IG carousels
  • Reels with hooks like “If I had to make $1K this week, I’d do this…”
  • Email stories about that airport delay
  • DMs with the word “PASSIVE”

I didn’t guess what to say. I used hooks that had already worked.

And when people commented or DM’d, I sent them straight to the offer or gave them a freebie to warm them up.

Bonus: Real Student Wins From One-Sitting Offers

You don’t need a decade of experience to do this.

Inside Clique, I’ve seen students:

  • Make their first $100 from a swipe file they built during free time
  • Build a niche offer from a voice note template and land 7 sales in a week
  • Repackage old workshop notes and turn it into a $47 workbook that can sell in their sleep

You’re probably sitting on something right now that your audience would happily buy…

If you made it easy to say yes to.

TL;DR – If You Want to Launch a Passive Income Offer Today:

  1. Choose a small, fast result.
  2. Build it with what you already have.
  3. Use a simple outline.
  4. Upload it and make it sellable.
  5. Promote it using 1–2 pieces of content.

No courses. No launches. No burnout.

And once you’ve done it once? You’ll want to do it again and again.

One comment can absolutely throw off your whole mo One comment can absolutely throw off your whole mood.

That does not mean you are fragile.
It means you are a person with a nervous system and a phone and a business and eyeballs.

Very normal.

The part that matters is what you do next.

Because the second you read something rude, your brain gets loud fast.

Your chest tightens.
Your fingers get fast.
And suddenly you are writing a full legal brief in your head like this stranger has personally been chosen for your closing argument.

I get it.

But reacting and leading are not the same thing.

Reacting is about relief.
Leading is about control.

And if you answer from the spike, it usually does two things:
makes the room feel weird
and leaves you feeling gross after

No win there.

Also, not every comment deserves the same energy.

Some people are confused.
Some are projecting.
Some are bored and using your comment section like a hobby.

Those are different.

So before you reply, ask yourself what is actually happening here.

Is this a real objection my quiet buyers might have too?
Is this my person, or just a random drive by with Wi Fi and opinions?
Is there something useful to clarify for the people reading without saying a word?

That is the shift.

Do not defend for the sake of defending.
Diagnose for the sake of the audience.

If somebody says, “this is stupid, this won’t work,” you do not need to perform confidence.

You can just say:
Totally fair question. What part feels unrealistic to you?

That response does a lot.

It slows the temperature down.
It makes the other person get specific.
And it shows the rest of the room that you are not rattled just because someone coughed in your direction.

Same thing with the classic “you’re just trying to sell.”

Okay.
And?

You can answer that without getting weird.

Clarity is not manipulation.
An offer is not a crime.
And calm does not mean passive.

So today, pick your move:
ignore the noise
ask one clean question
or turn the objection into content and help the people quietly watching

That is leadership.

Let me know if this hit the right side of IG 🤣 whe Let me know if this hit the right side of IG 🤣 where my PKs at?!

That heat round of public criticism (and private) was next level compared to social media hate.

Poul is a missionaries kid too haha!

Creating high-performing content doesn’t require 4 hours, a ring light, and a meltdown 😭

This is the exact system I use to batch a full month of video in 30 minutes - even on low-energy days.

If I lost it all tomorrow no followers, no list, n If I lost it all tomorrow
no followers, no list, no proof, no cute little receipts to point at

I would not waste a week trying to look established.

That is where people lose so much time.

They try to look polished first.
Professional first.
Credible first.

And meanwhile nobody knows they exist.

No thank you.

If I had to rebuild, I would get visible immediately.

Short form video.
Raw.
Hook first.
Saying something real.
Not waiting until the lighting is flattering and the brand voice is having a good hair day.

Because the invisible stage is not the stage to over-style.

It is the prove it stage.
The rocky montage stage.
The “say something useful before your fear talks you out of it” stage.

And yes, the panic would absolutely try to jump in.

It would say:
you’re behind
you’re doomed
you had your shot

Cool.
Very dramatic.
But wrong.

Because sometimes losing the old version is not doom.
It is freedom.

No stale identity to protect.
No old audience to keep happy.
No pressure to keep performing as the version of you that built the first thing.

Just data.
Movement.
Rebuild.

So week one?

I would post daily.
I would repeat the hooks that hit.
I would build a tiny freebie before it was ready and let it be a little embarrassing.
Mine have been ugly before too. Still worked.

Because followers with no list is just noise with good lighting.

I would rather have 73 people on an email list who actually care than a pile of views and no way to catch them.

And yes, I would manually DM the link if I had to.
Like it is 2016.
Like I have bills.
Like I am not above doing what works before it looks impressive.

I do not need a head start.

I need a plan.
And I would make one fast.
