TikTok Famous and the Opportunity

TikTok is a huge opportunity – just waiting for you.

Now is the time to get on TikTok! You’re probably raising your eyebrows at me but let me explain.

This is quite possible the easiest moment in time to snowball and grow on this up and coming social media platform. It’s still in the early adoption phase which may sound a bit scary to some of you, but the good news, and the benefit for those who jump on board, is the huge amount of room there is for growth.

You all know I like to learn. During all my reading, and studying, something that has really stuck with me is Malcolm Gladwell’s Tipping Point. 

So many of us have an assumption that we need a million followers, or $500k in sales, or a huge number of whatever it is you’re measuring in order to make something magical happen. 

But in reality, according to Malcolm (and my own personal experience) just 100 to 1000 super fans can make a difference and be “the tipping point” to our Businesses.

It has taken me next to no time to get thousands of video views and thousands of fans on TikTok. 

I’m currently getting 6 figures in daily views with very little work or time spent!

I’m so sure of this platform and the growth that’s coming, that I’m going all in. 

This year, I won’t be posting much on Facebook and only limited amounts on Instagram. When I look at how much effort I have been spending on Facebook and Insta posts and stories for only a few thousand views (at best) compared to the ease of which I’m seeing thousands of views on simple TikTok videos, it’s a no-brainer for me.

“But Rachel – how am I going to monetize TikTok?” 

This question has come up so often in conversations lately. 

Please, please, please… don’t get caught up on how you are going to monetize this platform. 

If you were given a billboard in Times Square for free right now, would you ask how you could monetize it before saying YES! No – you’d just say YES to the billboard and figure it out! 

This is a free platform with which to grow your business. Say yes. Figure it out as you go!  

Let me be clear though – I am making money through TikTok, significant money. 

So yes, there are ways to monetize the platform. Just don’t overthink it before you give it a try. 

Jump on, secure your place, then make your plans on how to best use it for your business and your brand. 

Not convinced yet? Here’s one last reason – there are some very cool perks that many are experiencing with TikTok fame. 

Beyond increasing brand recognition (which, let’s be honest, we ALL want!), some TikTok users are creating such a buzz around themselves that they’re getting invitations from celebrities to come to parties, or to join a musician on stage at a concert. Well known celebrities too!

So, my question to you is, where are you going to spend your time, energy, and money?
