Okay, let’s get this out of the way: I don’t usually use the word “woo.”
Why? Because it gets an unfairly bad rap.
Say “woo” and people immediately imagine smudge sticks and $700 crystals that “align your business chakras.”
But here’s the part nobody admits: woo is basically holding hands with many of the same truths as science and faith.
- Science calls it quantum mechanics.
- Religion calls it faith, miracles, God’s timing.
- Woo calls it manifestation, energy, alignment.
Different language. Same root ideas. And once I stopped rolling my eyes (years ago) and actually paid attention, it changed how I build my business.

The Day I Got “Smacked”
Here’s what happened: I was sitting there, debating a big decision. (Do I double down on content? Do I pivot? Do I slow down?) And everything logical said, “Wait. Play it safe.”
And then this flood of little “coincidences” showed up: conversations, repeated words, random little nudges. My brain went, Okay, that’s weird.
Old me would’ve said, “It’s just random. Don’t be dramatic.”
But the version of me that’s studied psychology, read way too many books, and yes, gone to church on Sundays? That version said: “Huh. Maybe this is what scientists call quantum entanglement, what the Bible calls confirmation, and what woo baddies call a sign from the universe.”
And for the first time, instead of shoving it down, I paid attention.
Woo ≠ Fluffy
Let’s be clear: I don’t love fluffy. I love systems, psychology, and frameworks.
But what if woo isn’t actually fluff? What if it’s science explained differently?
- Quantum physics: Everything is energy. Observers affect outcomes.
- Faith: Speak to the mountain with faith like a mustard seed and it moves.
- Woo: Visualize the thing and it shows up.
Tell me those aren’t cousins at the family reunion.
The labels might be different, but the function is the same: you pay attention, you focus energy, and you act with faith (whether that faith is in math, God, or the cosmos).

How I Use This in Business
I don’t sit cross-legged chanting my offers into existence (no shade if that’s your thing – mad respect!!). I use these overlaps like a system. Here’s what it looks like for me:
- Notice patterns. Science calls it RAS (reticular activating system). Faith calls it discernment. Woo calls it “signs.” I write them down.
- Test alignment. I don’t take it as gospel. I run it through my systems – does it fit the data? Does it match what’s working?
- Take action. Faith without works is dead. Woo without action is just Pinterest boards. And science without experiments? Useless. So I move.
- Document results. I track. Did following the “nudge” produce growth? If yes, keep going. If not, adjust.
The Truth Bomb
The only reason woo has a bad rap is branding. Science wrapped it in math. Religion wrapped it in reverence. Woo wrapped it in… glitter!!!
But the bones are the same: focus, belief, repetition, and aligned action change results.
When I started treating these moments like data instead of fluff, my business stopped feeling random. I didn’t wait for lightning bolts. I noticed patterns. I trusted nudges. I acted anyway.

Final Word
So yeah, I don’t love talking about “woo.” But the truth? Science, religion, and woo are just three different accents saying the same word.
And if paying attention to those little nudges makes me better at building businesses, helping clients, and raising my kids? I’ll take the eye rolls.
Because at the end of the day, I don’t care if you call it God, quantum, or glitter. I care that it works.
